More than a store

What started as a passion for the sport has grown into a trusted padel community, serving players from all over the country. You can collect your order in Durban or Cape Town, see the gear in person at our display and retail point in Somerset West in the Cape Town area, and our online store delivers nationwide.

From rackets and bags to balls, grips and accessories, we carefully select products that offer the quality and performance players deserve, across adidas, Babolat, Bullpadel, HEAD, NOX and SIUX.

We also keep a rotating range of quality pre-owned rackets, so getting on court, or upgrading, doesn't have to start at full price.

Where can I buy padel rackets in South Africa?

The Padel Market sells padel rackets, shoes, bags and accessories online at thepadelmarket.co.za, with delivery anywhere in South Africa and free delivery on orders over R2,000. You can also collect in Durban or Cape Town, including a display and retail point in Somerset West where you can see the gear in person by appointment.

Which padel racket should a beginner buy?

Beginners are usually best suited to a round-shaped racket with a balanced or low balance point. It has the largest sweet spot and is the most forgiving on off-centre hits, which matters far more early on than raw power. Our shop by playing level guide filters the range for you, or message us and we'll recommend one.

Do you take trade-ins on old padel rackets?

Yes. Send us photos of your racket on WhatsApp and we'll assess the brand, model, age, condition and any accessories included, then offer store credit towards your next racket. Full details are on our trade-in page.

Do you sell second-hand padel rackets?

We do. Our pre-owned range is checked and graded by condition, so you can get a higher-spec racket for less. Stock changes often as trade-ins come in.

Can I collect my order instead of paying for delivery?

Yes, collection can be arranged in Durban (North Beach or Musgrave) and Cape Town (Cavendish or Wetton). All collections are scheduled in advance, so message us and wait for confirmation of the address and time before travelling.

How much is delivery in South Africa?

We deliver nationwide by courier, and delivery is free on orders over R2,000. See our delivery information for current rates and timeframes.
