Adidas Metalbone

Adidas's flagship family. The standard Metalbone and the firmer HRD+ are high-balance diamonds with removable weights, built for players who finish points overhead. The round CTRL and Carbon CTRL keep the same feel with a lower balance for placement, and the lighter Team versions bring the Metalbone to intermediate players.

Pro EDT (Pro Edition) rackets are small-run versions of the rackets Adidas players use on tour: the Metalbone, the Arrow Hit and the Cross It Light, each with a premium finish. Each one plays like its standard model, so choose it the same way. Stock is limited and rarely restocked.

Adidas Cross It

Which Adidas padel racket does Ale Galán use?

Ale Galán plays the Adidas Metalbone, a high-balance diamond built for attacking play. We stock the current Metalbone alongside the firmer HRD+ and the round CTRL versions, so you can choose the same family with more power or more control.

What is the difference between the Metalbone and the Metalbone CTRL?

The Metalbone is a diamond with a high balance, so the weight sits towards the head for heavy smashes. The Metalbone CTRL is round with a lower balance and a bigger sweet spot, so it is easier to place the ball and defend. Attackers usually prefer the Metalbone; players who win through placement prefer the CTRL.

Which Adidas padel racket is best for beginners?

The Adidas RX Series is the best place to start. The rackets are round, light and forgiving, with a soft core and a large sweet spot. Once you play regularly, the Cross It Team Light and Metalbone Team Light are easy next steps.

What are Adidas Pro EDT and Reserve rackets?

Both are limited editions. Pro EDT (Pro Edition) rackets are small-run versions of the rackets Adidas players use on tour, and the Metalbone Reserve is a limited release of the Metalbone. They play like the standard models they are based on, but they are made in small numbers, so once they sell out they are rarely restocked. Message us to ask about upcoming releases.

Can I trade in my old racket for a new Adidas racket?

Yes. We accept racket trade-ins, so you can put the value of your current racket towards a new Adidas model.

Do you sell Adidas padel bags, shoes and accessories?

Yes. Alongside rackets we stock Adidas padel bags, shoes and accessories, depending on availability. Everything we have is in the product list on this page.

How fast is delivery in South Africa?

We deliver nationwide, including Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria, and you can also collect from our Durban and Cape Town stores. Orders are processed within one business day of payment, delivery takes one to three working days with The Courier Guy or PUDO, and delivery is free on orders over R2,000.

Do Adidas padel products come with a warranty?

Yes, through The Padel Market. Our Adidas Padel products are covered against genuine manufacturing defects, and all warranty claims are handled by us, not by Adidas's official or licensed South African importers or distributors. WhatsApp us on 078 682 5432 and we will take care of it.
