Description
The Babolat Counter Vertuo 2.6 2026 is a control-oriented racket from Babolat's entry-level Vertuo line. Its round shape, fibreglass face and soft core make it forgiving and easy to handle, ideal for beginners focused on control and consistency.
The Babolat Counter Vertuo 2.6 2026 is Babolat's most forgiving, most comfortable padel racket, engineered for beginners, recreational players, and improving intermediates who want to enjoy more of their game, make fewer unforced errors, and protect their arm through every session. Built with a soft fibre face and elastic Black EVA core, it delivers easy, effortless power and the largest sweet spot in the Babolat 2026 range. If you're new to padel, returning after a break, or simply want a racket that works with you rather than against you, this is where to start.
The Counter Vertuo is built around one idea: make every ball easier to return. The soft fibre face flexes on impact and loads energy into the ball like a spring, generating power without requiring a big, aggressive swing. The Black EVA core absorbs incoming pace and converts it into a smooth, controlled response. The result is a racket that turns defence into counter-attack without effort, letting you focus on court position and placement rather than technique.
The Counter Vertuo is built for this audience. Its soft fibre face and Black EVA core keep the ball in play even on mishits, making those early club sessions far more enjoyable and less frustrating. The Vibrabsorb system protects your arm on the harder, faster courts common in SA, reducing the risk of the tennis elbow that sidelines many new players.
