Description

The NOX Equation Soft 2026 is a control-focused intermediate padel racket built for players who prioritise comfort, forgiveness, and easy ball output over raw crispness. With a round shape, soft HR3 Soft EVA core, and 3K fibreglass face, it delivers a cushioned, elastic feel on every contact, keeping the ball in play effortlessly, protecting your arm across long sessions, and making consistent padel enjoyable from the first point to the last. If you play 1-3 times per week, want a racket that works with you rather than demanding from you, and value comfort as much as performance, this is your racket.

The Equation Soft is built around a single priority: making every session more enjoyable. Its soft HR3 core produces a longer dwell time at impact, the ball sits on the face for a fraction longer, giving you more time to feel the contact, redirect the ball with precision, and generate depth without aggressive swing technique. The round shape centres the sweet spot for reliable contact wherever you strike the ball on the face. The medium balance keeps the racket light and neutral in the hand, easy to redirect at the net, stable on defensive blocks, and forgiving on the stretched lateral shots that catch most intermediate players out. This is the racket that makes you look and feel better on court, immediately.

South Africa's padel scene is growing fastest at the recreational and improving intermediate level, and the Equation Soft is purpose-built for that community. For players managing tennis elbow, building confidence at intermediate level, or simply wanting a racket that takes nothing away from the enjoyment of the game, the Equation Soft is the most sensible choice in the NOX 2026 range.

Technology

Fiberglass 3K (FG3) face, a triple-layer fiberglass weave providing a controlled, flexible response on every contact. Maintains consistent performance characteristics across a full season of play, with more durability than standard single-layer fibreglass.

HR3 Soft EVA core, a low-density, soft-touch rubber core that delivers a cushioned, elastic feel on every impact. Longer ball dwell time means easier depth generation, greater forgiveness on off-centre contacts, and significantly less arm fatigue across extended sessions. The defining difference from the Equation Hard.

Carbon Frame, full carbon fibre frame providing exceptional structural rigidity, torsional resistance, and long-term durability regardless of core softness.

Anti Vibration System (AVS), an integrated vibration-dampening system that reduces shock transmitted to the wrist, elbow, and shoulder on impact. Especially effective in combination with the soft core, together they create one of the most arm-friendly racket constructions in the NOX intermediate range.

Dynamic Composite Structure (DCS), frame material extended approximately four centimetres into the face surface, eliminating the hardness transition between frame and hitting zone. Reduces risk of fibre cracking on edge contacts and improves overall racket durability under regular club use.

Exclusive Spin, a dual-texture surface finish combining a 3D hexagonal pattern in the centre of the face with a sandblasted rough finish around the edges. Increases ball friction and grip, adding spin to lobs, slice shots, and volleys with no extra swing effort required, especially useful for intermediate players developing their shot variety.

Smartstrap® replaceable safety cordNOX's patented quick-change wrist cord system. Replace the cord without tools for improved hygiene, customisation, and safety.
